I have so many summer memories of my best friend’s mom kicking us out of the house and telling us to entertain ourselves (lovingly) so I love seeing the kids around us do the same thing. They are roaming around outside from sun up til sun down, every day. It’s amazing. Also, love the teen PSA. I work with high school seniors, and if you can correct them without being a jerk (which is totally possible), they usually mean no harm. “Their brains aren’t fully developed yet” is my work motto sometimes haha
Totally on the same page. Our public schools are done this week and I am excited for my kid to have ppl who are a year older or two helping her roam the neighborhood and get dirty. I have created a downstairs "snack shack" with waters, lemonade, chips, goldfish etc. Summer should be fun!!
