So, this Monday my brother showed up at 8:45. I had to do a speed run, so I am 3 miles down for the month, but the point is he helped me. I can make up the miles by going 5 over 4 days instead of my normal 4.
The point is we have this.
That bottom section is all the data and he put the formula of “average plays per game” in and so now I just have to plug in the plays each game and the computer does the work. We are cooking with damn gas.
And I will say this, My numbers with the calculator?
Spot on.
So in the words of DX, “Suck It.”
Which brings us to this week’s chart:
So what do we know?
-Army is buckwild for playing 46 plays a few weeks after playing 83 plays.
-We didn’t have any overtime this week, which I appreciate.
-LSU’s got the biggest time differential (2022 to 2023), but I also think they’ve played the most competitive games so far, which seems to matter.
-Michigan at 56 plays and winning by 42 in a tight 191 is nice, but when the oppositions QB is 5-15 it seems like everyone involved was trying to get the game over.
-Honestly, why would we even look at Miami’s numbers because what happened in that stadium this weekend was gross. To not get that win, I feel like it going 225 was a crime against all of us. LSU-Mizzou that was a football game. Miami’s end game situation was a clownshow. A one man clownshow (you know who you are Mario).
But realistically, the biggest update:
I learned a thing from my brother, because I round constantly, it changes the numbers from where they would be, so here is a closer peak at the raw:
Point here is we are cooking. A day late but not a dollar short and, honestly, easier for me than the calculator work I showed y’all. Honestly, I am so happy that he helped me with with this because I was very close to throwing my laptop out the window.
And my new calculators are probably sad, but don’t worry I still need to turn time into minutes from hours and newsflash, all I am doing is adding whatever minutes to 180. 180 is 3 hours, that is essentially the base for every game and then I go from there.
Also got some work update stuff coming so stay tuned, hopefully will bring it up on the podcast this afternoon.
Cheers!!!
