Indiana, to me, is sitting in the catbird seat. Even more so than Penn State. No one expected them to be there. They didn’t expect to be sitting at five with two weeks of season left. With a new head coach. With roster turnover.
They’re not just a great story, they’re a damn good football team including gutting it out over Michigan. No one expects them to beat Ohio State, our number two team. So they can’t fall that far and a loss means they don’t have to play in the Big Ten Championship Game. 11-1 and just hanging around.
Or, maybe they do win today and make it to the title game against Oregon. Hey, more power to them.
Speaking of “hanging around” UNLV beating San Jose State and just waiting to see what Colorado State, a team who is unranked but has the leg up on them to get to the MWC Title game.
I think we’re in for a very rough Notre Dame-Army “Rumble in the Bronx”
