Safety or Linebacker, somebody has to do the dirty work

Long talk with my wife trying to explain why the weak or back side A gap as a hinge point in football.

Did she hate it? Yes.

Did she hate me? Yes

This is normal.

It isn’t me complaining about her. She’s not a nag. I just talk about football the way I talk to football players and I might as well be speaking Mandarin to her. Same as my brother talking architecture to me.

So I realized a few things:

-This is not how people talk about football, casually
-A lot of folks pretend to understand but really just don’t want to say, “I don’t get it”
-Football is mad complicated
