How Michigan or Washington win this game, plus an X-Factor
Styles make fights and we are looking at two different styles. One team is at their best when they run fewer than 60 plays. One team is at their best pushing over 70 plays. A ten play difference is a big deal and this is a combination of Michigan wanting to wrestle Washington down to the ground and suffocating them vs Washington wanting to keep things moving and increase possessions.
Between doing College Sports Now, ACC Radio, my own show and several radio spots I have finally really focused in on what I care about in this game. Also, ironically, one of my kid’s best friends in her kindergarten class has a dad who played at Washington and we had dinner at their house last night during the Seahawks game.
(It was so refreshing to talk about football with another football player, I don’t get to do that in person often. Our wives said, “they’re like the same person.”)
